First he reminds her of the genocide, and now so aptly of her recent attacks. She rubs in irritation at a spot on her neck as unmarred as the rest of her, but quickly drops it away to begin re-arranging the cookies.

She looks back to him, a glance over her shoulder with a ghost of a smile.
"Twas there where I learned that even when it seems hopeless, there are still those who seek to remind of pleasure and selfless charity, and that we are stronger as one. All need food, drink, health, and spiritual nourishment."
