As the pressure of the vines grows stronger along the front door, it feels as though the plant's simply covering the front of the building and is starting to back off on its attack. Perhaps it's disgruntled that a potential meal got away. In any case, it will be cleared off soon enough.

Fortescue's expression begins to look slightly more strained as the pressure starts to fully settle against the door. But she doubts there will be too much more, unless something very interesting is going on behind it.

"They're sort of like worlds that fit on top of the physical world," she explains, as best she can. "Some of them supposedly look identical, with a few visual details different. Shadow is eerie, but here in Teleios it has the same geographical layout."
